Job Overview: The Regional Facilities Director (RFD) is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of facilities management services across multiple sites within a specified region. The RFD ensures that all offices are maintained to high standards, including cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. They will oversee maintenance programs, capital projects, energy management, and the implementation of innovative facilities solutions to enhance workplace environment and operational effectiveness. The RFD will also manage a team of facilities professionals, including Senior Facilities Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement regional facilities strategies and budgets aligned with the company’s global objectives.

  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operations of all assigned facilities, ensuring they comply with all health and safety regulations.

  • Manage regional facilities budget, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Coordinate with Senior Facilities Managers to ensure consistent service delivery and adherence to company standards.

  • Implement regional initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and sustainability.

  • Liaise with real estate and leasing departments to manage leases, expansions, renovations, and relocations.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess effectiveness and implement improvements.

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to contractual agreements.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to facilities staff within the region, fostering professional growth.

  • Support GRE and business unit leadership regionally with a focus on strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a regional or similar leadership role.

  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent professional designation is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction practices, lease administration and relevant legislation.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
