Job Description
Grace is seeking a Sales Manager to join our Specialty Catalyst Sales team! This role reports to Sales Director, China located at Beijing or Shanghai. This role will manage the UNIPOL® PP catalyst sales in China. Total sales revenue will be around $40M each year.
Responsibilities
Own Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives and drive revenue to meet or exceed forecast
Manage distributors and channel to better serve customers and achieve Grace sales objective
In conjunction with Marketing, develop appropriate roll-out strategies for new products, develop and implement competitive strategies
Partner with Marketing to benchmark products, pricing and service levels of the competitors, and provide industry trends and competition information to Marketing
Interface with Order Fulfillment, Customer Service and Logistics to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Further use and develop Grace sales tools such as Salesforce, account planning, value selling, etc.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above in chemical engineering, chemistry, engineering or related field, Master or MBA is preferred
10+ years of progressive sales experience in manufacturing industry; chemical industry a plus
Proven sales methodology and process skills for complex sales situations
Skilled in building customer relationships and incorporating “the voice of the customer” into sales
Strong business and financial acumen
Results oriented
Strong problem solving and analysis skills
Able to speak and write fluently in English and Mandarin
Able to travel frequently
Experience in utilizing sales automation tools such as Salesforce
Solid knowledge of and experience in formal sales training (i.e. Sandler Sales Approach, Customer-Centric Selling, Strategic Selling, and/or Value Selling)
