For our P&O team, we are looking for a P&O Advisor to help us drive P&O within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You'll make an impact by
Providing basic human resources services and operational support to the organization, such as discussing separation packages with managers and employees, explaining options for maternity leave, and explaining guidelines and policies.
Answering questions that require a level of professional judgment beyond the scope of AskP&O, e.g., contract questions.
Supporting employee relations activities by investigating and resolving issues concerning working conditions as well as people-related issues such as manager/employee and colleague relationships.
Assisting Line Managers to address specific people topics by advising on options (in the context of Siemens policy and local labor law), assessing risk, and acting as a consultant to help managers decide on the best course of action.
Managing data and documentation handling at a local level as required.
Implementing local P&O activities and projects in alignment with P&O BP requirements.
Implementing P&O projects and initiatives, arranging training courses according to business needs and resources.
Department Meeting and Event Support: Organizing and supporting various meetings and events, such as JF, department gatherings, and annual conferences.
Department Procurement Management: Responsible for purchasing office supplies, gifts, food, and beverages.
Basic Office Administrative Support: Handling tasks such as new employee office equipment requests, returning computers upon separation, flower maintenance, Cost Center maintenance, and office equipment management.
Your defining qualities
Bachelor's degree or above, 1-3 years of experience in P&O or in a business function.
Experience with relevant P&O systems (e.g., SAP, PeopleSoft, …).
English Proficiency: The ability to communicate effectively in English is crucial for this role.
