Microsoft Corporation Customer Success & Consulting (CS&C) Finance Manager in Beijing, China

In MCAPS Finance, we’re driving shareholder value in 54 subsidiaries & 120 Sales Locations and carry the local accountability for the financials as well as statutory and compliance matters across all Microsoft commercial segments and products.

The CS&C Finance Manager will be part of the GCR HQ Finance Team He/she is responsible for partnering with the business to drive Support and Consulting Services growth; and with the Customer Success team to drive Azure consumption and MW&S usage.

Responsibilities

Prioritization:

  • Lead key finance processes (Budget, Forecast, Month Close) related to Unified, Consulting and CSU resourcing.

  • Drive standardization and simplification of processes

Partnership:

  • Partner within Finance, business leaders and process owners across GCR subsidiaries to provide insights and value-added analysis for the organization such as benchmarking analysis, spend management and resource allocation analysis.

  • Drive growth strategy in Consulting and Support focus areas, such as Unified attach and Whitespace opportunities.

  • Drive productivity insights for Consulting and Customer Success (CSU) resources.

  • Support CSU resource allocation to optimize productivity while meeting customer obligations.

Protect:

  • Drives the right tone from leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modelled throughout the organization.

  • Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust; advocates,

  • educates, and promotes best practices and new developments. Encourages asking questions and identifying risks to compliance. Champions Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards. Advances key compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

o OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field

o OR equivalent experience.

• Strong analytical skills; robust storytelling and influencing skills

• Fluency in English
