As an R&D Engineer Scientist II – Combustion Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and optimization of process burners and flares. Your expertise will drive the performance and reliability of combustion systems, contributing to the success of our technology and solutions. You will work within a collaborative team environment, leading testing processes and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and test process burners and flares.

• Operate DCS system.

• Calibrate transmitters and analyzers.

• Perform sizing and process design calculations.

• Operate combustion test equipment (vaporizers, preheaters, furnaces, etc..)

• Lead a diverse team of technicians throughout the testing process.

• Follow all safety and environmental requirements.

• Climb, sit ,stand, stoop, kneel, and crouch

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• 2 years of manufacturing or combustion related experience

WE VALUE:

• Bachelors of science in mechanical or chemical engineering

• Knowledge of utility systems and equipment

• Knowledge of tools and methods necessary to troubleshoot and maintain piping and control systems

• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the welding and assembly process

• Knowledge of the principles of combustion

• Ability to read and understand blueprints,

• Ability to learn new things quickly

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft office, autocad)
