Job Description

The Spa Supervisor will oversee the spa associates, assisting in the day-to-day operation of the department and acting as the manager on duty in absence of Spa Manager and Spa Director. Spa Supervisor to play special mind to ensuring operational competencies are met by spa staff and direction to team is given when appropriate as it relates to Springs Eternal Spa Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for over-seeing training for all new front desk, attendant, and activities staff. Initiates new procedures and SOPs to current staff, while ensuring all current standards are met.

  • Conduct monthly MOS audits to consistently maintain high level of service standards with support staff – in line with Coyle Audit standards.

  • Train in Service Recovery efforts through empowerment of team.

  • Completion of two-week schedule for front desk, spa attendants, and activities with business levels in mind – completed, entered in Ontrack, and sent to Spa Director prior to distribution.

  • Extensive knowledge of SpaSoft system.

  • Leading by example and exhibiting servant leadership styles, while also holding team accountable for standards.

  • Ability to answer questions about available services, general property information, and amenities for Resort and Spa

  • Reliable in resolving guest recovery opportunities – communicating with leadership regarding issue and resolution.

  • Maintaining efficient booking to ensure greatest capture – looking forward maximizing both resources and facility.

  • Maintain Guest Supply inventories bi-weekly and submit to Spa Director.

  • Schedule and coordinate quarterly linen inventories, assist with quarterly retail inventories for spa boutique.

  • Assist Spa Manager and Spa Director in creation of template for All Together Get Together meetings.

  • Assist in communicating trainings to support team. Assist in holding quarterly team meetings and working alongside Spa Director and Manager to act upon feedback.

  • Oversee Alice functions as they pertain to Spa services during need-based times.

  • Time Management excellence as it results to attending to needs on the floor and designated administrative tasks.

  • Review Opportunities for social media – submit monthly posts to Director for approval.

  • Maintain License Book Monthly to ensure compliance, spa license verifications to be up to date.

  • Send Weekly Medallia to Leadership for Issue Prevention.

  • Maintain Monthly Enhancement Performance for staff.

  • Any additional tasks deemed appropriate from leadership.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • One year experience in similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Knowledge in spa, beauty and/or wellness preferred.

  • Ability to train associates effectively in standards and procedures.

  • Excellent oral and communication skills.

  • Proficient with computers including Spa Soft, Microsoft Office, Kronos, and On Track. Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
