WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Jordan Brand Stores team in North America delivers inspiring and distinctive products, services and experiences to our consumers across all of the Nike, Inc. retail concepts. We are seeking a Lead, Nike Value Stores (NVS) – NA Jordan Brand to join the team. This role will be essential to implementing the vision of a balanced and profitable marketplace for the Jordan Brand.

The ideal candidate should have a strong competence, including operations and analytical abilities, while translating Jordan Brand strategy into execution at NVS. Additionally, the candidate will have a passion for delivering a premium consumer journey at stores.

This position is based at our exceptionally beautiful campus in Beaverton, Oregon, so we are hiring someone that has a desire to be based in this location.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

We are a multifaceted and fast-paced team, and we deliver decision-ready insights to build a balanced marketplace and grow the Jordan business. As the authority on the NVS business, you will develop, deliver and manage retail tools, reports and meetings across functions and teams working in parallel. You will gain an understanding and handle inventory from Nike’s inline stores to its value stores.

A typical week starts with synthesizing the previous week’s retail results to provide clear and actionable decisions for stores leadership. You'll be able to then develop and communicate clear trends in the business in an effort to build longer-term strategies. Finally, you'll work cross-functionally with the NVS team to drive a tiering strategy that elevates the Jordan Brand in the marketplace.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

As this team/role sits within NA Jordan Stores, we will collaborate with Nike partners in North America, including those that lead inline and value stores. Regularly, you will be collaborating with planning, merchandising, supply chain, store operations and even retail brand, both within the Jordan and Nike.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education, experience, and training

• At least 5 years of corporate retail and stores experience

• Managing a retail store(s) is a plus!

• Strong retail math skills

• Ability to understand and convey retail trends internally and externally

• Track record of positively working with and influencing other functional partners

• Ability to story tell or convey information in a clear and concise manner – Keynote experience is helpful

• Strategic and critical thinking skills

• Attention to detail
