Cella Inc Footware Product Designer in Beaverton, Oregon
Location: Beaverton, OregonJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $40 - 44 per hourWe're seeking a creative and skilled Footware Product Designer to drive digital creation from ideation to prototype. You'll produce digital assets and physical samples while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your role will involve presenting design assets that clearly communicate intent to diverse audiences, including product designers, developers, engineers, and more.Responsibilities:
You will be working on early footwear concepts and ideas for various teams across global footwear. These teams can range from innovation or performance and lifestyle teams within the Fields of Play.
You may also collaborate with other members from design teams including product, materials, color, and computational designers as part of a creative collective on projects. You will also work closely with several other teams within the Footwear Lab who are helping support other parts of the same project such as concept creators, engineers, mold and tooling designers, tool makers, programmers, and technicians.
Qualifications:

Innovative mindset, creative problem solver, and process oriented.
Strong focus on project management and collaboration.
Understanding of mold making, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
Possess a mechanical approach and working in a hands-on environment.
Associates or bachelor's degree in, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical field is preferred.
5-7 years relevant work experience in footwear product creation, CNC programming or related field and industry.
Autodesk Powermill 5 axis programming is required.
Effective project management skills and related software's (Airtable).
Experience in engineering and/or manufacturing in a high-volume Prototyping environment creating high-value products.
Passion for making; technical confidence working with your hands.
Versatile, detail-oriented, problem-solving skills, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
Ability to drive collaboration and communication within a complex group.
