TEKsystems Customer Service Representative - Primary Care in Beaverton, Oregon

Job Title: Customer Service RepresentativeJob Description

In this position, you will perform general patient access and registration duties in EPIC Practice Management, such as answering telephones, making appointments, processing referrals, maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules, and verifying patient demographics and insurance coverage. You will also perform general patient account management duties, such as obtaining prior authorization for services, processing items in the appropriate work queues to complete registration, and entering service capture data. You will ensure patient accounts and coverage structures meet standards and billing requirements of various payors. Additionally, you will function as a liaison to Patient Financial Services and the Health Plan, communicate with external government payors and employers as necessary, work directly with patients on billing-related matters, and provide fee estimates for medical services. You will explain co-pays, cost shares, and any other applicable fees.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in HILLSBORO, OR.

Work Environment

Work shifts will be between 5am-8pm Sun-Sat. Shifts will be provided during training. Must be willing to work weekends. You will get to choose from different shifts during training, so must be open to any shift any day prior to accepting. Training is 18 days and is usually Mon-Fri 8-5pm. That will be your training shift until you move to your normal schedule. You will be working with the Primary Care team. The position will be fully remote, but you need to be local within 1 hour of Portland. You MUST be able to work onsite for the first week, and after that, you will be remote the rest of the time. You must use a vehicle to pick up equipment onsite in Hillsboro.
