Seasonal Summer Position Beaver County Family and Consumer Sciences/4-H Extension Intern

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with Family and Consumer Science programs, prepare FCS fact sheets, write lesson plans, supervise TRY 4-H Adventure club, plan, prepare, execute 4-H Camp, and teach/assist with 4-H Summer Adventures and the Beaver County Fair.

HOURS:

24 Hours per week.  Position will begin June 2024 and end August 25, 2024.

PAY:

$14.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a High School Diploma, be a college student in spring of 2024 or enrolled for fall 2024.  Must conduct and attend programs and meetings, as well as maintain regular office hours. Be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and be willing to travel.  Use of personal car required.  Have ability to organize people and activities.  Experience as a 4-H member or a 4-H leader preferred.  Computer literate and ability to work well with youth.
