HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a part-time Lifeguard at our large community client site located in Beaumont, TX.

Flexible part-time shifts, working up to 25 hours per week

Looking for a fun part-time job as part of an Aquatics Team? HealthFitness is hiring Lifeguards to join our team in Beaumont, TX . In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all the aquatic facility members and guests. You will also attend staff meetings & training, maintain a professional attitude, and perform other duties as needed/assigned.

What's required:

• Lifeguard & CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross (or willingness to obtain certification) required.

• Must be at least 16 years old.

• Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.

• Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.

• Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.

• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

All lifeguards are required to perform a basic lifeguard skill test consisting of:

• 500-yard swim.

• Active, Passive, Submerged rescues.

• Spinal injury management in shallow and deep water.

• Other various techniques that were learned during the Lifeguard Training Program.
