Description We are searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Beaumont, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As an Accounting Clerk, your main responsibilities will revolve around maintaining accurate financial records, managing customer accounts, and performing data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing of customer credit applications.

• Ensuring customer credit records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Handling customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Assisting with account reconciliation tasks.

• Handling accounts payable and receivable.

• Processing invoices and managing billing operations.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Utilizing SAP for business process management.

• Maintaining confidentiality in all business-related matters. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing procedures

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP software

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field of accounting.
