Summary You will serve as a FUEL DISTRIBUTION WORKER in the FUELS SECTION, AIR FIELD OPERATIONS BRANCH, OPERATIONS DIVISION of MCAS BEAUFORT SC. Responsibilities You will operate refueling trucks to transport fuel on the installation and over public highways. You will perform daily operator maintenance on vehicles (e.g., check fluid levels, tire pressure, etc.). You will collect fuel samples from tankers, bulk storage tanks, fill stands, nozzles, mobile re-fuelers, filters, and separators to conduct on site visual tests. You will be responsible for the transferring and placement of fuel. You will be responsible for the maintenance of storage tanks and equipment. You will serve on quick response for oil spills, tank ruptures, and leaks from barges, or other types of petroleum pollution. This position requires rotating shift work.
