Description

We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team. Based in BAYTOWN, Texas, this role involves handling customer accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining essential financial records. This role is essential to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Engage constructively with all levels of the organization to ensure a streamlined flow of information.

• Review invoices thoroughly for precise documentation and approval before payment.

• Perform data entry tasks for invoice payments.

• Handle weekly check runs, prepare checks, and process ACH and wire payments.

• Act as the point of contact for vendors and staff regarding inquiries and payments.

• Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and files.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close tasks.

• Conduct account reconciliation to maintain up-to-date records.

Requirements

• Demonstrated competence in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with SAP ERP is required

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Purchase Orders

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
