LEGENDARY WATERS RESORT Cage/Vault Manager in BAYFIELD, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Maintain awareness of all Cage/Vault Operations department activity, monitor performance of staff, must adhere to LW policies and procedures. Recruit, hire, coach, direct and develop team members. Builds a team by developing and implementing initiatives to improve team member performance and retention. Maintain department staff records. Coordinates drop team member activities with accounting to ensure all financial internal controls and reporting requirements are met including bank deposits. Establishes and maintains appropriate security measures to protect confidentiality of company information and property. Promotes effective communication with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates through regular staff meetings. Develops and operates within the adopted Cage/Vault budget, including capital budget requests. Participates in and attend designated meetings, trainings, activities, etc., as needed or directed. Promotes a clean, safe, and friendly work environment for team members and guests. Ensures that the operations of equipment, tools and materials are handled in a safe manner. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior. Responsible for scheduling, time sheets, and tracking attendance. Completes annual reviews and evaluations for staff. Instructs, trains, directs, and coaches team members. Responsible for ensuring cage/vault personnel follow and understand internal procedures, check cashing, Title 31, and all Red Cliff Tribal gaming regulations. Accurately redeem patrons slot tickets. Cash checks with prior approval from check cashing system or Shift Manager. Responsible for window bankroll and reconciles bankroll at conclusion of shift. Maintaining records necessary for the operations of the cage/vault. Pay jackpots out to slot attendants. Verify large amounts of money for various types of transactions. Promotes Legendary Waters Resort & Casino by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, helpful, and friendly manner. Keeps area clean and well stocked with supplies. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Perform other duties as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Under the direction of the Controller, the Cage Manager manages all operations of the Cashier cage/Drop/Vault. Ensures proper staffing, actively recruit new team members, customer satisfaction, and accurate accounting of transactions. Supervises all facets of the drop/count operations, safeguarding and accounting for all casino money drops and organizing and maintaining all drop boxes. Develop, implement, and evaluate departmental policies and procedures. Actively recruit new team members, oversee effective hiring, training, evaluation, and performance of all Cage/Vault personnel. Friendly, professional attitude always required. Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays. A neat clean appearance is a must. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED required. Must have at least one year of supervisory/managerial experience. Knowledge of casino and tribal gaming regulations and the ability to ensure compliance as appropriate within the areas of responsibility. Interpersonal and teamwork-oriented skills are necessary to maintain a high-quality working environment for team members, along with displaying leadership qualities. Excellent customer service skills to maintain quality service delivery. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and maintain a professional demeanor. Knowledgeable of Gaming Regulations, Title 31, and Minimum Internal Controls. Demonstrated ability to accurately account for large amounts of cash.
