Two kennel workers needed immediately to work in a local animal shelter. Will maintain a safe and sanitary facility for animals and people and provide humane handling and care for all shelter animals. Job duties include: handling, training, caring, and feeding animals along with cleaning of kennel areas. Bleach and other cleaning materials will be used. Must be able to perform manual labor, lift up to 75 lbs., bend, sweep, mop, etc. NO cell phones allowed during work hours. Will work directly with dogs and cats. Applicant needs to be tolerant of animals and not allergic to them. Part-time position is 7am to 11am, Full-time is 7am to 3:30 pm. Both positions need available 5 days a week including weekends, but have some flexibility.
