As a Senior Medical Education Specialist, you will collaborate with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and internal business partners primarily in the Medical Affairs, Sales, and Marketing.

Medtronic Endoscopy is based in Santa Clara, CA. This role is open to remote in the United States for well qualified candidates.
A Day In The Life
Execute customized clinical education programs (both in person and virtual) as part of a comprehensive training curriculum you will develop to educate HCPs on the safe and effective use of medical technologies in gastroenterology and hepatology (primarily procedures that detect and treat esophageal diseases)
Manage hands on professional education programs in partnership with prominent GI societies and tradeshows to promote products and drive procedural awareness and adoption, including product hands-on support as needed
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on various efforts such as clinical messaging strategies; completing required compliance activities; managing KOL relationships, promoting training programs, and funding grants
Must Have; Minimum Requirements
Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 4 years of experience working with and developing clinical education programs,
Or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years experience working with and developing clinical education programs
Nice To Have
Previous experience in developing and delivering educational content in innovative ways, including simulation, virtual reality, etc- highly desired
Previous experience with content and curriculum development following Adult Learning Principles
Previous experience in the medical device industry
Clinical acumen in gastroenterology
Advanced skills with technology to work in and/or quickly learn various platforms (examples include Veeva Promomats, SalesForce, Zoom, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Pro, etc.)
Willingness to learn the complexities of working in a compliance-regulated industry
Track record of excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
Keen attention to detail
Meeting timelines/deadlines a must
Excellent skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Optimistic mindset, eagerness to learn about disease states and technologies, and flexible to changes and demands of the job
Highly proactive in continuous improvement and problem solving
Primarily home based, 15-20% travel

The provided base salary range is used nationally in the United States (except in Puerto Rico and certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by location.
