Schlumberger Utility Operator in Battle Mountain, Nevada

The Minerals Mill Worker is responsible for utilizing crushing, grinding, conveying, packaging, testing and shipping equipment to expedite transformation of crude materials such as barite and bentonite into finished products. The Minerals Mill Worker operates heavy and mobile equipment, monitors production and processing, and performs required maintenance and troubleshooting in the mill or plant environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operate equipment in a safe, efficient and compliant manner. Report deviations to mill or plant management.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, environmentally sound work area.

  • Communicate with coworkers and management.

  • Ensure equipment is maintained in optimal condition using preventative maintenance systems.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Minimum qualification & Experience

  • 1-3 industrial experience

  • Valid drivers license

  • HSD

  • Forklift or farm equipment experience a plus

  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.

Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.

• At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated hourly salary rate is $22.00-$32.00.
