Honeywell Sr Mfg Support Supervisor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

As a Senior Operations Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for overseeing the operational aspects of our diverse product portfolio. You will play a key role in optimizing processes and ensuring the successful delivery of our offerings. You will report directly to our Sr Chemical Plant Ops Manager and you’ll work out of our Baton Rouge, LA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ensuring that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy for our product portfolio, aligned with business objectives and market needs.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with business goals and customer needs.

Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize product development and delivery processes.

Monitor key performance metrics related to portfolio operations and analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers involved in product development and delivery.

Manage raw materials and finish goods levels.

Manage tank trailer fleets.

Consolidation of inventory in SAP.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on product operations or related roles.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.

Excellent communication and people-oriented skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement solutions.

Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Knowledge of agile methodologies, product development processes, and quality management ethics is a plus.

Experience in SAP and Microsoft office.

DOT and IMDG certifications.

WE VALUE
