Rubrik Senior Manager, Global Deal Operations in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

We are now hiring a Senior Manager, Global Deal Operations to oversee the management of the team building non-standard quotes, and supporting GTM workstreams, operational initiatives, reporting, change management & processes. This person will be a key steward to ensure holistic quality controls for the Global Deal Desk team. They will promote a scalable and service-oriented support model, while also ensuring operational compliance and driving continuous improvements through data-driven analytics. This person will manage a growing global team, serving as the primary business partner to senior x-functional Leadership/Sales/Finance. With strong analytical and communication skills, they will drive the execution of projects, operational metrics/enablement, as well as provide key insights on needed system & driving system enhancements to maximize efficiency across our non-standard deal cycle.

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee management of all non-standard quoting workstreams and ensure process-driven processes/enablement while maximizing Rubrik’s efficiency

  • Oversee the growth and development of a team of Deal Operations Analysts

  • Oversee the providing of discount, margin guidance and deal structuring advice based upon understanding of overall deal portfolio, business strategy and competitive situation

  • Effectively resolve and champion conflicts arising between internal operational processes and customer needs. Ensure appropriate expertise, review and approvals are applied to all non-standard deal workflows. Provide analysts as needed and consult to ensure optimal results

  • Create effective cross-functional and cross-organizational communication and teamwork by partnering with Revenue Accounting, CPQ, Sales Operations, Finance, Order Management and other internal corporate groups

  • Works on issues that impact design/selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies. Simplifies needed actions between key decision makers and effectively advocates for needed progression on complex challenges.

  • Drive non-standard enablement & communication workstreams with Sales

Ideal ba c kground:

  • 7-10+ years software industry experience (Deal Desk, Finance, Sales/GTM Operations experience preferred)

  • Institutional knowledge of deal strategy and sales/GTM operations related to non-standard transactions

  • Exceptional/detail-oriented business partner with ability to simplify complex issues

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ, Excel and demonstrated track record of driving enhancements, especially with x-functional stakeholders

  • Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and drive to successful completion

  • Outstanding analytical, reporting, and presentation skills. Good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions

  • Must be a self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills

  • Detail oriented, energetic professional with strong sense of ownership & accountability who is a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with organizational changes in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

  • Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions

  • Ability to handle tough conversations and drive consensus on complex and difficult subjects

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US (SF Bay Area, DC Metro, NYC) Pay Range

$158,100—$237,100 USD

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

$142,200—$213,400 USD
