SUMMARY

As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll utilize phone and electronic communication to connect with new and existing customers, driving product and service sales. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential for success in this full-time role with competitive compensation and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond promptly to quote, bid, and sales order processing via various communication channels, providing timely updates as needed.

  • Take ownership of managing portal items, including follow-ups on quotes and expediting orders when necessary.

  • Engage in continuous training to enhance technical knowledge and improve customer service.

  • Utilize and contribute to internal tools to streamline material outsourcing.

  • Collaborate closely with account managers to strengthen customer relationships.

  • Offer friendly support to walk-in and will-call customers.

  • Assist warehouse team with order fulfillment and inventory management.

  • Address inventory and customer issues promptly with the Branch Manager to enhance service.

  • Suggest improvements and actively participate in branch meetings.

  • Deliver high-quality service in all interactions.

  • Coordinate with internal departments for swift problem resolution.

  • Fulfill other inside sales duties, including participation in the 24/7 call-out plan.

    Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial and/or instrumentation inside sales.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Dependable, adaptable, and possesses a positive personality, fostering collaborative work environments and enhancing team dynamics.
