EMCOR Group Business Development Manager in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy for the oil and gas industry, including identifying target customers and markets, and creating sales and marketing plans to penetrate those markets.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in the industry, including potential customers, suppliers, and partners.

  • Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and tenders in response to customer requests and market opportunities.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects and services.

  • Keep up-to-date with market trends and emerging technologies, identifying new business opportunities and potential risks.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality products and services, and promptly addressing any customer complaints or concerns.

  • Prepare and present reports on business performance, including sales, revenues, and customer feedback, to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, or 10+ years of business development experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, and the associated supply chain.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business development strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Flexibility to travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and visit project sites.
