Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire a strong Sr Bridge Engineer/Section Manager for an engineering firm in Baton Rouge, LA. This position will oversee the planning, design, and execution of bridge projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure successful project delivery. Day to day responsibilities include: planning and managing all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projects; work on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable-stayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projects; Review, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITs. The pay for this position is around $150,000.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

10+ years of bridge design experience

PE

Experience with SAP 2000, STAAD or any other Bentley Software

Project management skills including project scheduling Master's Degree in Engineering

Bridge inspection experience

SE License

Moveable Bridge Experience null
