Description We are offering an opportunity to join our team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The role focuses on the management of accounts receivable and collections, operating in the telecom industry. This role is for a short-term contract and allows for remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable function and related metrics.

• Direct a team of collectors and manage their performance.

• Interact with customers to resolve escalated billing and collections issues.

• Manage cash management and bad debt reserves.

• Prepare AR KPI reports to track performance and identify areas of improvement.

• Execute month-end close activities in the Accounts Receivable function.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data.

• Conduct business-to-business collections activities.

• Oversee account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.

• Generate Aging Reports to track overdue accounts and take necessary action. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Demonstrable experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Aging Reports

• Experience in handling Commercial Collections

• Ability to perform Month-end Close Activities efficiently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a high-paced work environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Proven experience in streamlining and improving accounts receivable processes.
