Description:

Our client is currently undergoing a massive terminal project where they are upgrading all 22,000 terminals that they have in their stores from multilane to SCO. They are looking for a contractor to come in on the Payments team and support this project to help offload some of the work from FTEs. Currently they are upgrading 10 stores a day, 50 stores a week.

Skillset:

o Basic understanding of multilane EFT terminals and payment systems (coming from a retail or grocery background is preferred)

o Basic understanding of estate management technology (they will be trained on this)

o Basic understanding of networking concepts / pinging IPs, IP configuration, ensuring devices can connect to the network

• They will be working with instore technicians to ensure that all of the stores credit card readers are working properly. If a system or multiple systems are

  offline, the store will not be able to open since 93% of transactions are with credit cards

o Excellent customer service skills - they will be working with technicians who will be physically in the stores doing the terminal upgrades triaging all of the

issues that are happening in the stores

o Flexible hours (need to be in early mornings prior to stores opening) start time - 6am CST

• Able to start their days at home because they must start at 6am and then drive into work after a few hours for the days they can be in office

o Needs to be able to work on a hybrid working model (3 days home 2 days in the office)
