Job Overview:

The Tax Analyst applies their conceptual knowledge of Tax and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Tax problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The Tax Analyst understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support various internal and external audits relating to Statutory and Tax Accounting activities including Tax Assessments

  • Provide timely and effectively communicated responses to external auditor inquiries

  • Maintain accurate and compliant statutory ledgers

  • Assist to prepare monthly and annual tax reporting

  • Assist to prepare tax forecast and tax provision

  • Assist to prepare Bank Indonesia reporting (SIUL, KPPK, LLD and Simodis)

  • Prepare and post journal entries as needed

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience

  • Minimum Tax Brevet A & B

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and tax working experiences

  • Strong knowledge of statutory accounting principles, regulations, compliance requirement and Indonesia taxation

  • Familiar with Indonesia government reporting (BI and BKPM)

  • Experience with accounting software will be advantageous

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

  • Details oriented, good analytical skill and can work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Fluent written and verbal communications skills in English
