Telespazio Belgium HR Administration, Learning & Development – Local Manager in Bastogne, Belgium

Currently, we are looking for a highly enthusiastic HR Administration, Learning & Development – Local Manager who will work for Telespazio Bastogne, in Belgium.

What is expected from you:

The Human Resources Administration, Learning, and Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the HR administration and learning and development functions for the company. They will work closely with the HR Director and other members of the HR team to develop and implement strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.

The Human Resources Administration, Learning, and Development Manager will report to the Head of the Human Resources, Legal, and Communication Department.

The Human Resources Administration, Learning, and Development Manager is responsible for a team of 1.5 FTEs that is growing, based in Belgium.

  • HR Administration: You would be responsible for overseeing the HR administration function of the organization, including managing employee data, processing payroll, and administering benefits. You would ensure that the company is compliant with legal requirements and company policies. Tasks will be managed with the support, as needed, of specialized external consultants.

  • Learning and Development: You would be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing learning and development programs that support the company's goals and objectives. You would work closely with department heads to identify training needs and develop training plans. You would also coordinate and facilitate training sessions, including employee onboarding. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and recommend improvements.

  • Flexibility and Global Presence: Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and HR trends.

Mandatory on-site presence in all countries to ensure a global understanding of HR challenges and consistent policy implementation.

  • Performance Management: You would manage the performance appraisal process, ensuring that it is aligned with the company's goals and objectives. You would provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance management matters.

  • HR Policies and Procedures: You would ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated effectively to employees. You would keep up to date with changes in labor laws and regulations and ensure that the company is compliant.

  • Budget Management: You would manage the learning and development budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.

  • Coaching and Support: You would provide coaching and support to managers and employees on HR and learning and development matters.

  • HR Software: You would have experience with HR software systems and be responsible for the implementation and management of such systems.:

  • Leadership style: You will be able to adapt your leadership style mainly (without being exhaustive) in those two styles:

  • Democratic Leadership: Encourages participation and collaboration in decision-making. Values input from team members and seeks consensus. Fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility among team members.

  • Laissez-Faire Leadership: Provides significant freedom to employees to make decisions and manage their tasks. The leader acts more as a facilitator and offers guidance when needed. Suitable for highly skilled and motivated teams

  • Manage the performance appraisal process and ensure that it is aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated effectively to employees.

  • Support the HR Director in other HR-related matters, as needed.

  • Work in strong collaboration with HRO Italy

Overall, as a Human Resources Administration, Learning, and Development Manager, your main responsibility would be to ensure that the company's HR policies and procedures are aligned with the company's goals and objectives and that employees are supported through effective learning and development programs.

What you offer:

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR administration and learning and development.

  • Knowledge of Benelux labor laws and regulations.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with HR software systems.

  • Fluency in French, and English.

  • Knowledge of Workday is an asset

  • Knowledge of SAP4Hana is an asset

  • Knowledge of Italian and/or Dutch is an asset
