Cloud Architect
Location: Hybrid, Basingstoke [requirement to travel to other sites when needed]

Your role
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in the creation of a multi-cloud offering based on both private and public cloud solutions. This role will define and execute this strategy as it pertains to various public cloud platforms but specifically AWS.
Your transferable skills and experience:
Mandatory
Extensive knowledge of the design and implementation of secure, highly resilient, large scale cloud based infrastructures preferably on AWS platforms
Experience of working directly with customers to define and elaborate infrastructure requirements
Excellent presentation skills with experience presenting up to CxO level stakeholders/customers
Experience of deploying production cloud implementations with successful project completion and service transition
Experience of designing cloud solutions to be compliant with security standards
Hands on’ extensive scripting experience in the provisioning/management of cloud infrastructure
Knowledge of automation tooling to facilitate CI/CD approaches to IaC
Experience of estimating costs/timescales for the implementation of cloud based systems
Highly desirable
Experience/knowledge of CIS/NIST/27001 security standards
Relevant cloud platform certification
Experience of MoD Cloud solution deployments
