Cognizant ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant in Barranquilla, AT- St 77B, Colombia

What you will do

Technical consultant Senior has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Technical Consultant Seniors define develop test analyze and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills and high research design documentation and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle.

Responsibilities

Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development

Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings

Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team

Fulfill Project´s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers

Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices

Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication

Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements

Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed

Lead, educate, mentor and develop the Thirdera resources who are assigned to his/her projects.

Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently

Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project

Partnership with HR to deliver technical interviews and support the recruitment process

Requirements

Degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology, and

proven experience in technical consulting roles

Proven experience working on the ServiceNow platform

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for ITSM (CIS-ITSM)

Proven experience in two additional product lines outside of ITSM

Advanced English

Knowledge of ITIL; Foundation-level preferred

Post-graduate in Software related topics is desired
