Join our team as a Regulatory Affairs Manager to oversee the complete regulatory process for our Global Category Taste & Sugar Reduction initiatives in Taste, Texture and Health BU. Your role will be crucial in supporting innovation projects with your regulatory expertise and guidance, ensuring that new flavors, food ingredients, and technologies are safely and compliantly introduced to the market. Based in Spain or other EU locations, you will be at the forefront of driving timely and successful product launches that meet the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Your key responsibilities

  • Acting as primary RA regulatory point of contact on assigned projects related to Global Category Taste&Sugar Reduction within TTH BU. Supporting the regional deployment of new flavour&food ingredients in the regions.

  • Acting as an active member of innovation discussions, provides regulatory and scientific support on the development of new ingredients and processes.

  • Monitoring global regulatory developments related to food, flavours, food additives and ingredients, and related areas (e.g. changes/evolution in registration requirements or definitions of a country/region), and providing BU-specific foresight/advice and regulatory interpretation.

  • Supporting and coordinating the dossier preparation and compilation with business, S&R and toxicology teams for regulatory submissions of new ingredients, including the compilation and submission of applications, reports and correspondence.

  • Developing, maintaining guidelines and/or positions for key regulatory topics relevant for Global Category Taste&Sugar Reduction and aligning within RA team prior to finalization of the guidelines/positions. Ensuring effective communication with the business partners.

  • Collaborating with the innovation community and providing support and guidance on regulatory and scientific aspects, and providing regulatory guidance to project teams, addressing regulatory issues, and aligning regulatory strategies with business objectives.

You bring

  • University / MSc in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Biological Science or equivalent.

  • +5 years regulatory experience in Flavours, Food Ingredients, Food/Beverage or related industry.

  • Expert knowledge of the regulatory landscape in Food Industry (regulatory compliance, product registrations, technical specifications, product labeling, claims,...)

  • Very strong communication skills, clarity and transparent in communications, problem solving and desicion making skills

  • Profound and natural team player

  • Professional English is a must, any other European language is a plus
