Join the OPTIMA Shopping Operations team and be a driving force behind Amazon's world-class shopping experience. As a Sr. Data Associate, you'll be a key player on our elite annotation and data analysis team, responsible for processing a variety of tasks with exceptional efficiency and quality. Working in close partnership with our seasoned Operations Manager and Data Associates, you'll leverage your analytical prowess to drive critical process improvements and automation opportunities.

This is an office-based role in our Barcelona, Spain office, working Monday to Friday. Our office-based roles provide additional flexibility to work from home up to a maximum of 2 days per week, with an expectation to attend the office a minimum 3 days per week.

During the training period (first 6 weeks after starting date) attendance at the office will be required 5 days a week.

Key job responsibilities

• Dive into a diverse array of annotation and data analysis tasks, consistently meeting or exceeding key performance metrics

• Provide hands-on floor support to the Operations Manager, working closely with Data Associates to help prioritize their workload and deliver on business-critical needs

• Track and report on crucial operational metrics of Data Associates, ensuring flawless delivery on all KPIs and SLAs

• Collaborate with your team to identify and implement process efficiencies, continuously enhancing productivity

• Apply your sound judgment to make informed decisions within established guidelines and procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and German (C1/C2 level), with a special focus on writing and editing skills and a strong command of grammar

• Excellent MS Office skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in content creation, copywriting, or editorial work

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like linguistics

• Outstanding communication and organizational skills

• Passion for improving customer experiences through innovative technology
