UL, LLC Engineer Project Associate, Onshore Wind Energy Advisory in Barcelona, Spain

We are looking for a Engineer Project Associate to join our Wind Energy Advisory team in Izmir, and help provide solutions to support energy project success.

You will manage execution and timely completion of wind projects by analyzing project scope, determining project specifications, and preparing reports for clients.

The analysis of renewable energy projects at UL Solutions involves working across the full spectrum of analyses from data processing, visualization, descriptive and inferential statistics to completed energy reports.

  • Correct execution of projects with minimum supervision and without errors. Execution of the project according to defined methodology and guidelines.

  • Provide technical support to the rest of the team.

  • Provide technical assistance to Project Managers for possible client communication.

  • Ensure coordination with the Project Managers regarding project status.

  • Integrate continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.

  • Participate in the development of UL knowledge

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a quantitative field (Physical Science, Meteorological Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Physics Engineering, Data Science or Statistics)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the wind energy sector

  • Being able to think outside the box, being able to look from different angles,

  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Fluency in English

  • Being able to take initiatives

  • Eager for problem solving

  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Optional:

  • Master of Science or Engineering degree in a quantitative field (Physical Science, Engineering, Data Science or Statistics) from an accredited University

  • Proven track record with meteorological data analysis
