ADP is hiring a Temporary Communications Business Partner

In this role, you will … be a key member of the global payroll communications team, business partnering with the leadership team of one of our market-leading payroll solutions to create communications to our associates, clients, and partners – telling the story of ADP and the wider global payroll function.

You’ll also play an important role in the global payroll communications team, contributing to the communications across the global payroll suite of products, as well as working with internal and external communication colleagues across the world as we work together to spread the word on ADP’s market-leading payroll services.

This post is a maximum 12-month contract.

THE ROLE:

The Temporary Communications Business Partner is responsible for developing and managing internal, client communications primarily for our ADP business, but also for the global payroll function more broadly.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, Global Payroll, the role will involve the creation and execution (from concept to delivery) of highly engaging client and internal communications. The role will also involve owning the communications of change initiatives to drive strong associate and client engagement, global and regional events, and supporting the leadership team in achieving their communication objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate plans and create content for internal associate engagement and client campaigns such as blogs, social media, videos, town halls, newsletters, new product releases, engagement surveys and other motivating and engaging articles.

  • Working with the senior leadership team, draft and maintain an annual communication strategy and delivery plan for the ADP business, integrated with the global payroll communications strategy.

  • Project manage and execute on the delivery of client and internal campaigns.

  • Create content and manage the delivery of internal and client magazines, communications, and newsletters.

  • Manage online collaboration and portal sites.

  • Lead the collaboration across the products and business units for multi-product projects, and being the single point of contact for legal and privacy communications, when changes impact all of the above.

  • Coordinate content and hosting of all global, regional or project webinars relating to ADP GlobalView.

  • Be comfortable delivering demos to clients and presenting to large audiences at multi-client events.

  • Provide communications advice and expertise for teams and senior leaders, including the management of town hall events and engaging leadership communications according to the agreed communications plan.

  • Manage the development and deployment of ad-hoc systems maintenance and emergency communications to update internal stakeholders as required.

  • Work with internal teams and manage external vendors/contractors to deliver impactful communications projects and communications services.

  • Contribute to wider, organization-wide communications campaigns and initiatives on behalf of the ADP GlobalView business.

  • Ensure global communications policies and standards are adhered to and ensure overall quality of business unit communications.

  • Take responsibility for the quality of final content – including grammar reviews, quality of English, ensuring messaging and content are correct and appropriate, and being the subject matter expert for tone of voice and style.

  • Work with colleagues in the global payroll communications team – sharing best practices, delegating to other team members as appropriate, and helping to build a one-team culture.

  • Define translation requirements up front – especially where legally required.

  • Take an active role in the global (ESI) communications team, which is responsible for client and internal communications across ADP’s international divisions.

WHERE YOU’LL BE:

  • The role is based in our Barcelona office. We offer a hybrid contract with three days in the office and two working from home.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Five years’ experience managing communications in a corporate environment (internal and external).

  • Fluent English (oral and written).

  • Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on strong copywriting and editing.

  • Ability to translate highly technical or legislative information into client-friendly copy.

  • Experience in working with and advising senior leadership teams on communication and engagement activities and strategy.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including the use and development of templates and the use of PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint applications.

  • Highly creative and capable of creating exciting campaigns for internal and external corporate communications.

  • Ability to maintain full confidentiality on sensitive topics.

  • Highly organized with a proven ability to meet stringent deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Flexible approach to working as part of a global team.

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative.

  • A degree in journalism, English, business, or other relevant subject.

Bonus points for these:

  • Working knowledge of Oracle Eloqua and PoliteMail.

  • Video editing experience

  • Social media and community management experience

  • Experience of event management – for example, live broadcast town halls.

  • Knowledge of HTML.
