Eastern Maine Medical Center d/b/a Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center has multiple openings for Medical Hematologist/Oncologist in Bangor, ME. Provide consultation and treatment for malignant diseases on the cancer care treatment team. Examine patients, order diagnostic tests, make diagnoses and prescribe treatments for patients with cancer. Counsel patients and their families on how to manage and best approach their illnesses. Head a treatment team, consisting of other healthcare professionals who will develop and implement treatment plans for cancer patients. Supervise one nurse practitioner. Must have MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in internal medicine or related, or completion certification, and 36-month fellowship in hematology and oncology or related, or completion certification; and Maine Medical License or eligible.
