Philips Business Manager, SRC Thailand/Myanmar cum HRC ASEAN Pacific in Bangkok, Thailand

In this role, you will have the opportunity

To driving sales and business growth through the development and management of a network of operationally efficient and effective Channel Partners for Sleep & Respiratory Care (SRC) products. In addition, you are also responsible for managing the Hospital Respiratory Care (HRC) portfolio for ASEAN Pacific region.

You are responsible for the following

As a Business Manager for SRC, Thailand and Myanmar:

  • Deploying strategies and tactical plans of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos for the indirect sales channel based on customer needs synchronized with the ASEAN Sleep & Respiratory Care strategic objectives

  • Ensure a consistent and uniform approach towards Channel Partners across assigned territory and all business units and business leads

  • Define and manage distributor requirements, responsibilities and duties

  • Search and Selection of channel partners in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders

  • Set annual targets and prepare joint business plan

  • Secure all Contract Management Processes are completed in a timely fashion: (New Partner Process, Regular DDP, BC setting, contract renewal)

  • Monthly KPIs performance review of Partner Landscape and highlight gross deviations from target including corrective actions

  • Ensure that operational support is provided to the partners at the required level

  • Establish and Monitor Partner Capability Development Plan execution and report progress

  • Perform partner funnel management and derive partner forecast

  • Normal standard dispute resolution between Philips and Partners

  • Organize Partner Events

  • Supports credit collection process.

  • Drives continuous improvements applying LEAN

  • Ensure local distributor organization are trained and coached in the use of the Philips Partner Management processes and tools

  • Behavioral: Daily demonstration of Philips Leadership competencies and 4 behaviors

As Modality Manager for HRC, ASEAN Pacific

  • Responsible for the Profit & Loss of HRC business in ASEAN Pacific and making major business decisions related to this portfolio.

  • Work closely with country sales team on appointing distributors and managing distribution forces

  • Lead technical sales support teams such as clinical application specialists

  • Regularly interacts with county sales leaders on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers

  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

  • Drive clinical decision support solutions. Develop and execute winning clinical sales strategies to expand market share. Actively participate with sales team in coordinating and executing clinical evaluations, product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Educating sales team on emerging clinical issues and positioning solutions to address these market changes.

  • Leading clinical support team to give sales teams with sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of complex products and customized solutions.

  • Responsible on providing clinical marketing supports to both HRC and RC businesses

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree with 12 – 15 years of relevant experience

  • Strong in regional product portfolio management and distributor management

  • Proven experience in setting up the distribution channels framework, management and projects

  • Able to analyze and develop insights in market structure and applying relevant marketing and sales techniques

  • Ability to think from a broad business perspective and out-of-the box

  • Strong communicator, problem solving and influencing skills

  • Strategic thinker with leadership skills

  • Prior experience in a medical devices/life sciences, or Sleep & Respiratory related products will be advantageous
