About the job

As a BI & Data Management Manager, this position responsible in driving data-driven decision-making and strategic planning for Sanofi Biopharma, based on the understanding of internal & external insights. This position under the GTMC team – Insights & Analytics pillar

This position lead the

  • Development and implementation of market & business intelligence initiatives specific to the Pharma market (Ethical & Vaccine) for all aspects of business with the purpose to gain competitiveness, to identify market trends & opportunities.

  • Analyze the data needs for supporting the commercial decisions and propose optimization in the source and the management of our data.

Main responsibilities:

BUSINESS ANALYSIS, SOLUTIONS, & ACTIONS

  • Frequently collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect necessary data (both internal and external data), reporting, analysis, and insights to draw full pictures of Sanofi business, to highlight actionable insights, business opportunities, & root causes together with recommendations for business decision making by a systematic approach

  • Supports timely business insights and decisions through the analysis of business data and information and through various means (dashboards, KPIs, predictive models, ad hoc queries, segmenting and summarizing data, etc.)

  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Independently or collaborate with the GTMC team to utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large and complex datasets, uncovering patterns, trends, and insights. Develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Design dynamic reports answering business and clients needs, focusing on delivering the best user experience. Synthesize and “package” data to create actionable insights to address business issues and/or identify opportunities leveraging any tools or Scripts. Build advanced analytics models to answer complex business problems

MARKET INTELLIGENCE

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the Pharma industry landscape, market trends, and competitive intelligence by collecting data from available industry reports (National Sales Audit from third party, public information, field reports (Customer Field Transformation report, field visit), or sales data;

  • Provide actionable insights to senior management and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, market positioning, and commercial strategy

  • Study business models, new updates, and business best practices from outside – Vaccines Market, Ethical Market, etc. to give recommendations to BU Leadership team for taking opportunities, enhancing business model and operational efficiency, mitigating potential risks, etc.

DATA MANAGEMENT NEEDS

  • Understand the data and associated value, systems, delivery mechanisms, consolidation, life cycle. Manage data quality in MDM system (Master Data Management), & SQL server

  • Understand & apply data management principles (data modelling, MDM, etc.)

  • Apply Data engineering techniques that transform structured and unstructured data sets into useful formats that stakeholders can use.

  • Understand the organization strategy and know which data are available to meet current and future business needs.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Statistic, Data Science, or Business Administration, Finance. A Master's degree is advantage;

  • Experienced in business intelligence, data analytics, business analyst, market intelligence, business/strategy consulting or a related role regarding the healthcare industry (Understanding of Ethical and Vaccines industry is advantage);

  • Technical Skill: PowerBI, PowerPivot, Power Query, Data Modeling & Automation , SQL knowledge

  • Languages: English and Thai
