Director position for the Commercial Management group.
This is a director position, responsible to internal clients in terms of all commercial aspects including business deliverables, decision making and impact, accountability, and financial measures (budgets, turnover etc.); ensures the setting of deliverables schedule, and securing necessary resources from other departments. Responsible for developing commercial strategies for tenders and project controls in its future business. Develops and provides input into the strategic/operations plans. Establishes the site procedures and reporting systems; and ensures contractual notices relating to time and money entitlements issued. Some responsibility for the effective client relationship.
Management responsibility: Director. Key competencies typically include: complex knowledge of contract documentation; complex knowledge of contract responsibilities and construction process to manage delivery team; ability to advise the client and delivery team on the project’s progress and accountability; strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, training, analytical and mathematical skills.
Director leading a business area, regional office or global area. Able to influence B&V clients and able to lead a project Contract program management work scope. Leads training and development of professionals.
Leads project contract teams on highest complexity projects.
Identifies opportunities for improving project contract processes and systems.
Provides business services for major projects and capture of major projects.
Interfaces with project teams and Directors to ensure project contract supports execution.
Coordinates resource requirements with services managers and department head.
Provides leadership in identifying and addressing major department issues.
Regional Office/Group Management:
Directs and Leads division project Contract process and systems development.
Collaborates with the regional office management team to achieve maximum value contribution.
Provides leadership to development of regional plans for project Contract support on projects in support of regional execution office and project field sites within region for multiple Lines of Business (LOB).
Possess strong leadership in the Commercial Management team.
Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.
An acquired Law degree will be advantageous. Prefer Master's degree or local equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Law or any other disciplines. Experience serving in a Leadership role for a large Project contract in both Home Office and Field preferred.

Expertise in Legal, Insurance, Finance, Tax and Treasury (LIFTT) issues.
Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing any and all contracts related to the industry.
Able to lead discussions relating to assessment and application of LIFTT issues to facts beyond project commercial issues but also broader industry and client issues.
Leadership skills to include the ability to manage, lead, guide/coach, develop, motivate, and mentor team professionals.
Proven communication and inter-personal skills.
Self starter and ability to make decisions independently.
Basic knowledge of Cost engineering.
Proven knowledge of Contract management.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. More than ten years of relevant Commercial management with Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office. Managed at least five (5) commercial projects.
