Brown-Forman Account Receivable and Credit Analyst - APAC in Bangkok, Thailand

Meaningful Work From Day One

Serving as CCCA Analyst (Credit, Collections and Cash Application) with the APAC/IMENA GBS structure and the Thailand business unit, you will be responsible for the Credit Analysis, collection of overdue accounts, payment application, claims, disputes settlement, and analytical activities with a focus on communicating quantitative and qualitative information in a clear, accurate, and timely manner with a focus on, but not limited to, Thailand accounts receivable issues.

The owner of this position will work under the APAC/IMENA GBS structure and should be able to work remotely and stay in command of all Thailand A/R & Credit related operations and other APAC countries.

What You Can Expect

  • Coordinate with the Account Manager, Customer Services, and Finance teams regarding collection, claims deduction, cash application, and banking operations.

  • Daily Cash application.

  • Reconcile month-end customer balance and the credit situation with the collaboration of Accounting and Sales Team.Verify that transactions comply with Credit policies and procedures and SOX requirements.

  • Review on credit hold orders, address issues for timely.

  • Assist with weekly customer aging report , month-end close in generating aging report with comments on past due invoices, perform DSO analysis, recommend provision for bad debt, and accrual for bad debt write off.

  • Contact and chase customers for payments, if needed.

  • Perform other receivables (not from customers) if required

  • Conduct periodic credit review and recommend credit lines to new and existing customers per Credit Policies and Procedures

  • Review any new customer code creation request and co-work with the GBS Master Data team and maintain customers’ credit files containing financials, credit agency reports,and collection records.

  • Manage Bill collector for bill placement & cheque collection.

  • Working closely with the Commercial /Sales & Customer Service team for matters relating to Credit & Accounts Receivable.

  • Supporting team members in their daily task when they are on leave.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelors or Equivalent

  • Post-qualified experience in cash applications and credit department

  • Ability to work remotely and independently as part of a team

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets)

  • Financial / ERP System – SAP (FI/CO/BW) - Preferably

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details

  • English language - Good written and spoken communication

  • Other languages will be a plus: Korean, Chinese, etc.
