Workday Technology – Functional - Consulting Associate – Production Support

Position Summary

Our capable Associates lead ticketing based and project work streams utilizing Huron tools and methodologies and industry best practices —as well as innovative analytics and technologies to implement complex, comprehensive solutions. Skilled relationship builders, our Associates are responsible for project work stream delivery, work plan management, analytics, reporting and client interface/presentations. They collaborate with client staff and leadership while managing and mentoring junior Huron staff. Everyone works in symphony to achieve a common objective: ensure sustainable technology solutions. Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact for assigned post deployment clients across all industries and will build long term partnerships with clients by supporting their optimization journey via day-to-day support and proposing thoughtful solutions to fit the specific needs of the client

  • Complete complex system-related analyses and troubleshooting

  • Work effectively individually and with team members toward customer satisfaction and success

  • Provide approaches and solutions for solving problems

  • Create quality deliverables

  • Manage clients' cases (assignment, status, progress, etc.) with strong communication skills

  • Troubleshoot and resolve cases in area(s) of expertise within Workday HCM and/or Financials and coordinate with Huron team and client on case resolution

  • Work on Workday optimization projects and other client delivery work

  • Develop skillset development including maintaining and adding relevant Workday certifications

  • You will provide Workday product, subject-matter, and implementation expertise; and work with partners to understand their business requirements and help configure and test the derived solutions.

  • Design and implement requirements in the solution including understanding client requirements and demonstrate the configurations through the development of a prototype.

  • Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements

  • Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration

  • Resolve functional issues and understand and implement complex business scenarios

  • Ability to manage multiple clients and tickets of differing scale and duration

  • Project management, reporting and maintenance

Qualifications

  • Substantial and measurable delivery within the ERP/Workday functional workstreams

  • Experience of working in reporting is an added benefit.

  • Overall, 3 to 8 years’ experience is required. Minimum 3 years of experience in Workday workstream.

  • Current active Workday Certification.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with work experience.

  • Experience with break/fix and problem solving live configuration.

  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written, and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration.

  • Previous Workday implementation experience

  • Functional expertise in Workday HCM and/or Financials functions, process, regulations and best practices with and understanding of higher ed, non-profit and/or healthcare requirements across various types of institutions
