The WHS Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to join the Change Management team.

This role will support WESE approval processes by pillar, the weekly WHS network digest process, the significant events process, and team document creation and tracking. The role will also support WHS onboarding, training, and certification enhancements in EU and ROW. The successful candidate will have experience with Amazon business documents, including MBRs and QBRs. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.

Key job responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement efforts in the WESE business operations

• Drive the weekly WHS network digest process

• Work with peers to identify opportunities to streamline WHS approval processes and support change efforts

• Provide effective communication to customers and stakeholders across regions to accomplish goals

• Own weekly/monthly reports and metrics

• Draft documents and revisions on reports per manager direction

• Make recommendations to managers for input into strategic discussions and continuous improvement projects to drive program efficiencies

About the team

The WESE team is responsible for ensuring the success of global engagement and ergonomics safety programs at sites, including Customer Fulfillment, Sort Centers, and Amazon Logistics, and for improving the safety experience of Amazonians. The team is focused on the successful execution of new initiatives and projects at sites that will improve ergonomics and reduce risks to associates.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Analytical skills with experience using Excel

  • Good communication skills (both verbal and writing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques

  • Experience with stakeholder management across geographies

  • Program/project management certification
