As a Video Producer and Editor – Global Services Creative Solutions team, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with a rapidly growing global team of talented video producers, production managers, and motion designers. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities

AWS is seeking a skilled and experienced Video Producer and Editor to join our Global Services Creative Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in video production, including filming, and editing. They will be able to take complex technical concepts and translate them into engaging and informative video content that resonates with a diverse audience.

If you have a knack for creating engaging and informative content, and thrive in a collaborative, high-energy environment—this role is for you. In this role, you will be responsible for using your video production and post-production experience to develop compelling AWS Knowledge Center videos for technical and non-technical audiences. You produce high-quality video content using video production and camera techniques demonstrating expertise in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro. Collaborating with subject matter experts, you craft video scripts, schedule and record footage, and edit material for publication internally and externally.

The ideal candidate has a diverse portfolio showcasing visual storytelling across various formats and styles including technical, creative, and videos created for social media platforms. To excel in this role, you should possess strong video production skills, as well as a dedication to ownership and a keen ability to identify and document process improvements.

A day in the life

This producer will be responsible for end-to-end video production of AWS Knowledge Center Videos and internal communication creative content. These videos are visual, step-by-step troubleshooting videos to help customers answer questions with troubleshooting or best practices. The producer works with Cloud Support Engineers and other subject matter experts to collaborate on producing the technical content. They are the technical experts, the video producer is the creative production expert. This producer may also contribute to internal communications video as it is part of the broader team's business function.

About the team

We are AWS Global Services’s creative strategists for video, livestreaming, and design assets which represent, promote, and engage our business and people securely both internally and externally. Our internal video products support internal communications, while our external products such as AWS Knowledge Center Videos help customers in their cloud journey. This producer will directly have an impact on customers by creating video content that answers their questions on AWS services. Our producers are cross-functional. Producers are expected to project manage, film, edit, and consult on creative aspects of video and graphic production.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years in a video production, editing or design related role (Not including internships)

  • 1+ years producing video content

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, color correction, and Camtasia including knowledge of 2D animation and 3D effects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing localized video content; Experience with motion design; Experience streamlining video post-production workflows for high volume output

  • Experience developing, creating, and supporting content for technical/IT related positions

  • Strong written and verbal communication and relationship building skills

  • Experience in data collection and evaluation to drive impact; Familiarity with studio and live broadcast production technology; Experience working with social media platforms and strategy
