General Summary:

Software Staff Engineer : Data Analytics and Enrichment

Within Data Analytics group, we develop, maintain, and operate automated on-prem and cloud solutions for big data pre labelling, analysis and visualization where various teams utilize a variety of technologies for Enrichment team.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain our end-to-end data autolabelling pipelines

• Develop toolchains for automatic identification of critical scenarios encountered during the driving based upon recurrent neural networks

• Extend existing framework for statistical analysis of various scenarios to support safety related aspects of Autonomous Driving

• Research and then translate algorithms from literature to working, extendable python codes by following OOP

• Use your creative mindset to explore and develop new modules to find unknowns from the data

• Work in a highly motivated, international team using SAFe as the overarching Agile framework for coordination

Minimum qualifications :

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying data applications in the cloud.

• Extensive experience in writing clean, well-documented, reusable code in Python where open-source Python libraries such as FastAPI, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc., are used.

• Experience with containerized platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong in RDBMS, NoSQL DB technologies like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

• Familiarity with big data technology stacks such as Presto or similar, Iceberg, notebooks, and dashboards.

• Industry experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions.

• Strong in standard software development processes such as code review, unit testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Hands-on experience using managed services from one or more of the major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, Azure.

• Quick learner and able to demonstrate POCs.

• Experience in supporting applications post-production like debugging, documentation, support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Good to have :

• Existing knowledge of standard and high-definition maps or a strong willingness to learn the same.

• Exposure in building data science applications.

• Experience with building data pipelines and workflow management tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Argo, or cloud-native technologies like AWS Batch, Azure Data factory.
