We at OPTIMA enable Amazon to deliver a superior shopping experience to customers worldwide. We are a global, cross functional team providing end-to-end data solutions for the LLM lifecycle, leveraging cutting-edge technology alongside our operational excellence. We enable shopping feature teams deliver superior CX quality by providing them reliable and comprehensive insights and ground truth data to measure and train ML (Machine Learning) models and handle annotation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) across 11 different languages. We support three large businesses Rufus, Search and Ashop with each of these having different annotation needs cutting across 00s of processes and features, which are rapidly evolving. There are 1000+ users and this number is expected to grow rapidly over next few months. Given this, we need best in class annotation platform which can adapt to the rapidly evolving business needs in Gen AI space and the growing user base, to enable Optima rapidly onboard new processes and run operations efficiently at scale while maintaining high quality and data privacy.

We are looking for an innovative and results-oriented Sr. Product Manager-Tech to envision the future and build well-integrated best in class annotation and RCA tooling platform that enables OPTIMA scale efficiently across 00s of processes and 000s of users covering multiple businesses which are rapidly evolving in Generative AI space. You will partner with business and ops leaders to define requirements, understand the user pain points, and partner with tech leaders to define technologies, using your technical background to weigh the pros and cons of technology choices and propose relevant options. You will define delightful and integrated user experiences, and influence teams inside and outside your own organization to bring best-in-class functionality into our tools, continuously raising the bar on the user experience.

Key job responsibilities

  • Understanding customer (internal and external) needs, defining clear project plans and executing to high expectations in a fast-paced environment.

  • Defining a data-driven product vision, detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture

  • Defining creative, high quality, long term product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision

  • Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, and working with product, tech, UX, business and analytics teams to define and deliver solutions.

  • Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical or operational constraints.

  • Driving execution of product roadmap, GTM and consumer adoption by partnering with internal stakeholders, defining metrics and tracking them.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition in large scale operations environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
