As a Senior Manager, Category Management Target+, you will manage a team using your intuition and category expertise fueled by data and analytics to oversee development of assortment Planning, pricing, and merchandising strategies that will deliver GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) and business profit goals while growing market share.

  • Collaboration & Strategic Oversight : You will have strong cross company collaboration skills and be able to communicate category strategies and business updates to the full Target+ Merchandising team in India and the US to build team cohesion, align priorities, grow GMV, profits and deliver a strong guest experience.

  • Business Analytics : You will monitor KPIs (key performance indicators) across all channels, guest behavior, market trends, and competitive insights to inform short-term and long-term performance. Your team will leverage data and analytics to identify market share, new sellers and category opportunities for the future.

  • Experience : You will consult on the best guest experience, assortment, servicesand promotions to deliver value to the guest and partner with teams across Acquisition, Site Experience, Services and Operations.

  • Assortment Expansion : You will oversee work managing key item lists, inventory accuracy, and competitive pricing strategies.

  • Seller Support : You will influence seller communication to help drive action and alignment.

About you: Four-year degree, B.S. and/or B.A.

  • 8-10 years of experience in merchandising, forecasting, and product selection (including managing and maintaining an open-to-buy and developing strong business relationships with sellers/vendors and industry leaders).

  • 5+ years managing an ecommerce business, with specific experience related to marketing and site experience and optimization preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience effectively leading, managing and developing people preferred.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and outcome focused personality preferred, ability to work in theenterprisingecommerceenvironment.
