Position Title: Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore, India

Business Unit: Allegion India Pvt. Ltd

Allegion India is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer, who will work with a team of cross-functional product development engineers to build, deploy and maintain software solutions that are leveraged extensively throughout the Allegion product portfolio

Job Description:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for new and existing Allegion products.

• Work closely with product management to understand requirements and translate them to elegant implementation.

• Collaborate with global teams for product development

• Peer reviews for code and design

• Contribute towards the continuous improvement of the quality and process

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Passionate in Backend API development

• Expert level experience with C#, Web API

• Knowledge on Front End development using Javascript/Angular/React.

• Experience with Git or Azure DevOps

• RESTful interface design and implementation

• Experience in Agile methodologies

• Basic knowledge in software design patterns

• Knowledge in different architecture patterns like client-server/server less computing.

• Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.

Desired Skills & Abilities

• Experience with Dockers and container orchestration.

• Experience in Cloud computing using Microsoft Azure

• Full stack development experience

• Experience in using Windows/Linux command line tools.

• Experience using any of the AI tools for software development.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• BE/BTech/M Tech/MCA/MSc in Computer Science Engineering

• 2 to 4 Years of experience in Software Application Development
