We are looking for a Security Software Engineer II to join our team and develop tools that enable the scalable management of Entra ID tenants. This role requires building efficient full-stack solutions that enhance security and operational effectiveness. We are looking for engineers with a passion for learning new technologies and the ability to build solutions around them. Responsibilities

• Create and implement code for a service or feature, reusing code as applicable. Write and learn to create code that is extensible and maintainable.

• Contribute to processes for the architecture of a solution feature and help to create proposals for architecture by testing design hypotheses and helping to refine code plans, with technical leadership from others. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and help implement them.

• Contribute to efforts to ensure the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, safety, and accessibility. Check for visible evidence to demonstrate compliance for solution areas. • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working as part of an on-call rotation to monitor system/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions. Alert stakeholders as to the status and gain approval to restore system/service for simple problems.

• Work closely with engineers from partner teams, Program Managers and other Security Engineering disciplines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python o OR equivalent experience.

• Experience developing cloud solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python o OR bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python o OR equivalent experience.

• Experience in identity management principles.

• Experience designing software via a security development lifecycle.
