Your Mission
As a ServiceNow Developer for Global IT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of CAE as well as supporting internal IT system roadmaps to maximise benefits. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions, leveraging your expertise across all ServiceNow modules to drive success.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, best practices, and coding standards. You will support CAE’s ServiceNow operations globally, covering all CAE’s business divisions and over 100 sites worldwide. In this position, you will be part of a Global Core IT team, interacting regularly with colleagues across all regions (Americas, EMEA, APAC).
Your Role & Main Responsibilities
Be an active member of the technology business transformation.
Develop custom applications and modules within the ServiceNow platform.
Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules.
Develop workflows, scripts, and automation tasks to improve platform efficiency.
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
Develop and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
Perform regular system maintenance, health checks, and optimization.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow applications.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with other developers and team members to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Document code changes and system configurations accurately.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements to maximize platform capabilities.

Your Qualifications
Soft skills
Strong oral and written communication skills in English - bilingual (English/French) preferred
Results-oriented with great team spirit, leadership, and motivation skills
Autonomous – comfortable exercising independent judgment in performing job duties
Ability to interface with Business Stakeholders (Business Unit and stakeholders) at all levels.
Technical skills
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and administration.
Proven experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules.
Experience with ServiceNow integration using REST/SOAP APIs.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and other ServiceNow modules.
Experience with workflow design, business rules, UI actions, and ACLs in ServiceNow.
Familiarity with database concepts and data modeling.
Expertise in other modules such as ITOM, SecOps, ITAM, FSM will be an asset
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and its application in ServiceNow implementations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
