We are seeking a developer who shares our passion for systems programming. As part of our team, you will play a role in advancing the Windows Driver Frameworks (WDF). WDF provides hundreds of APIs for both user-mode and kernel-mode drivers on Windows. These APIs offer simplified abstractions for power management, I/O requests, queues, direct memory access (DMA), memory management, timers, synchronization, and more. By leveraging the power of the Rust programming language, our mission is to further enhance platform reliability and security.
Responsibilities
Work with a team to design, implement, and test features in your assigned area
Build features with high standards of performance, security, and reliability
Work autonomously and collaboratively with teams in different locations
Follow Agile or similar methodologies to deliver quality products
Guide and support your peers to improve their skills and the team culture
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
8+ years of experience in software development
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or related field
Excellent coding skills in C/C++ Background in systems programming, including experience with low-level APIs, memory management, and kernel-mode development
Proficiency in Rust programming language, with experience in writing idiomatic, and safe Rust codeWillingness to learn, and a proactive and positive attitude
Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent problem solving skills and computer science basics
Preferred Qualifications :
Proficiency in Windows Driver Frameworks (WDF), Kernel-Mode Driver Framework (KMDF) or User-Mode Driver Framework (UMDF) is preferred but not required
Familiarity with Windows Internals, understanding the Windows kernel architecture, I/O subsystem, and device drivers
Knowledge of hardware interfaces, bus protocols (such as USB, PCI), and device communication
