The rapid growth of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agent, Power BI), is fueled by organizations across the globe investing in leveraging low-code/no-code application and automation development tools to accelerate their digital transformation ambitions.  

Power Pages is emerging to be one of the fast-growing capabilities of Power Platform for large organizations, education institutions, and governments around the world to quickly design and launch external data-centric websites. Examples of Power Pages powered sites include Government-to-citizen services like COVID-19 vaccination scheduling, Citizen 311 services, and Citizen FAQ sites. Other sites powered by Power Pages enable self-service customer returns, product warranty registrations, course registrations in Education, application processing, onboarding, and other customer-facing self-service applications of all kinds.     

The Power Pages service continues to grow exponentially as organizations large and small invest in low code to accelerate their digital transformation ambitions. Power Pages is a strategic growth area for Microsoft, but more importantly, it is a disruptive technology enabling CIOs and their teams to work closely with business users to launch these external websites to better serve their customers. The product is a battle-tested SaaS platform to host and administer these websites that have large scale reach, security & compliance, and responsiveness built in for all form factors from desktop to mobile.  

In this role, you will craft the vision, strategy, and roadmap to deliver compelling features that increase the intrinsic value of the portal platform and provide compelling capabilities for customers creating external facing websites. You will develop a deep understanding of the needs of Pages customers and create impactful platform features that enable experiences and provide extensibility options to help teams realize the power, value, and flexibility of portal’s offerings. You will partner with a product-oriented engineering team, designers and cross-functional partners in Marketing, Customer success, Sales and more to deliver solutions that fuel adoption of Pages and expansion of the Power Platform suite.

  • Deeply understand the needs of our diverse set of customers and become an expert on their workflows within their teams and functions. 

  • Plan and deliver product investments for the Pages platform that powers end user-facing experiences and provides valuable capabilities out-of-the-box 

  • Identify functional, technical, and infrastructural gaps and opportunities within Pages platform and work with product engineering in delivering capabilities and features that fulfill them. 

  • Work on building experiences that may require integrating or leveraging a variety of Microsoft services and products such as Office, Azure and with other products in the Power Platform. 

  • Identify and drive key measures of success for your product areas 

  • Collaborate extensively with cross functional teams, including Engineering, Architects, Data scientists, User research, and Design 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product/ technical Product management, product strategy with prior experience as a Product Manager

  • Demonstrated product development experience of products at scale.

  • Experience with App development platforms, web front-end development, Low code/No-code platforms, and/or Power Platform products.  

  • Led significant cross-functional initiatives that produced demonstrable business outcomes.  

  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, with a strong bias for action.  

  • The ability to wear many hats, learn quickly and change direction when needed.  

  • Proven track record of developing products in an agile development environment across several teams.  

  • Strong Product management, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills.  

  • Self-starter who is constantly curious and looking for ways to improve the product and team efficiencies.  

  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical experience
