Great opportunity to join the Telecom group of Jacobs Engineering. Main responsibilities include Ericsson UMTS & LTE & 5G Software Scripting, Integration & troubleshooting support functions. The position will be responsible to provide instruction, assistance as required.

Essential functions include: Understanding of Carriers Ericsson RAN Integration process and procedures. (ALU, Ericsson DUS, 6630 Nokia FSM4 (GSM, WCDMA, UMTS, LTE & 5G technology)). CSD/SAID understanding, IP knowledge in IP addressing, sub netting, routing protocols, VLAN, MPLS required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and execute software tools on customer networks to meet deployment process. Typical tasks would include 3G/4G node integrations/health checks, software updates. RET - antenna tilting/testing, etc. SIAD Integration & testing.

Software Scripting / Data Translation / work order creation from Carrier SRN/CIQ/EDP/RFDS documentation.

Here’s what you’ll need :

High School Diploma or GED required. Technician / Technologist diploma. Minimum 7 years related experience. Ericsson OSS/Integration Certification UMTS/LTE. Microsoft Excel / Office suite.
